RB’s Notes 1: Here’s a more detailed overview of what each patch does:
(QoL Fixes)
Respawn at 100% Health When you die and get picked up:
You now respawn at full physical and mental health instead of 60% and 80%.
Wired Reflexes Melee Death Fix:
Fixes a game-breaking bug where characters with Wired Reflexes installed would be instantly killed when fighting in melee combat.
Agira Power Focus Text Fix:
Agira Tetsumi’s Contacts entry incorrectly states he sells a level 3 Power Focus. He actually sells level 4.
No More Tar Pits:
All Tar Pit ICE in the Matrix has been replaced with the weaker Tar Paper variant. One Tar Pit remains in Seattle General Hospital so players can still intentionally delete unwanted programs from their deck.
(Decker Rebalance)
This patch makes targeted adjustments to the Decker starting skills to give the class a stronger identity and make them feel genuinely irreplaceable compared to a Samurai who simply buys a Datajack. The core problem with vanilla Decker is that a Samurai can buy a Datajack for 1,500 nuyen and replicate the Decker’s Matrix access with better combat stats. The Decker had no meaningful head start worth protecting.
Skill Changes:
Intelligence: 4 -> 5
Computer: 3 -> 5
Electronics: 1 -> 2
Negotiation: 2 -> 3
(Shadow Omni)
Adds a brand new playable archetype, the Omni, replacing the Gator Shaman slot on the class select screen. This class is not the best at anything, rather, being a jack of all trades. A Samurai hits harder, a Decker hacks faster, a Shaman casts stronger spells.
The Omni does some of all three.
Features:
New Human Omni archetype replaces the Gator Shaman class slot
Starts with Hand Razors, Gator Totem, and Mana Zap
Can use magic, melee, and the Matrix
Stats balanced across all three vanilla classes
Samurai and Decker untouched
RB’s Notes 2: If you’d prefer to play as a female main character, these hacks seem to be fully functional with Shadowrun Female Player, by Prof1515.
