Heart of Darkness

Heart of Darkness is an adventure action game inspired by the movie of the same name. The game was released for the PlayStation in 2001 by Interplay Productions. The game revolves around a boy named Andy, who is revealed by his homeroom teacher to be afraid of the dark. The teacher taught Andy some magic, and he used it to bring his uncle Whiskey to the magic park. In this place, his dog has been kidnapped by a dark force. To find and retrieve his beloved dog, he invented the machinery; After that, the boy went to another world called Darkland by spaceship. Immediately the ship malfunction, and he will face many pitfalls and enemies. Andy will have to fight the enemy to rescue the dog and return home before it’s too late. The game consists of several stages, and each stage has many levels with increasing difficulty. At the end of each stage, the player will have to destroy one of Hades’s strongest minions. When destroying enemies, they can drop items such as weapons, potion, hearts …These items have a higher drop rate when you kill the boss. Characters will lose their lives if their character’s HP is depleted.
