Legend of Zelda NC25 Graphics Tweaks + Playable Zelda

This is a ROM hack made to enhance the graphics of the Legend of Zelda, while still maintaining the game’s artstyle to an extent.
Changes include:
Link’s sprites/palette – Based on his design used in the original box art of the game.

Zelda’s sprites – Based on her design used in promotional art of the game.

Heart UI

Item border UI

Some item sprites

Environmental graphics

This hack is built off of ShadowOne33’s The Legend of Zelda Redux hack, which already has some graphical changes from the original Legend of Zelda. Additionally, the grass pattern on the ground was inspired by Pacnsacdave’s The Legend of Zelda – DX hack, and examining a hex string located in the hack’s data has helped with the implementation of the grass pattern in this hack. Though, no assets have been taken from the DX hack in the creation of this hack. Also, although the method they suggested was not used for this hack, thanks goes to the user Armagon from the Romhackdoting Discord server for their willingness to give helpful guidance.
Playable Zelda

This is an extra version of the Graphics Tweaks hack that allows you to play as Zelda. Text within the game has been altered to accommodate for this change, as well as Link needing to be rescued. This hack has been made for those who would rather play as a more feminine character. Though, Ninjacat25 admits that this hack is not the first to allow Zelda to be playable in The Legend of Zelda.
