'Pet Shop Monogatari 2' (also known as 'ペットショップ物語DS2') is a virtual pet management video game developed by Taito Corporation. It has a prequel named 'Pet Shop Monogatari', which received a localization in the West as 'My Pet Shop', although the second entry remains an exclusive release in Japan as of April 1st, 2010.

A sequel to its well-acclaimed earlier work 'Pet Shop Monogatari', the story heeds the help of the player to manage a suburbian pet shop; geared to please an array of spunky yet loveable customers. Holding the grand number of 60 kinds of animals, it introduces new pets such as ferrets, hamsters, squirrels, hedgehogs and red pandas. Not only that, but there are 300 breeds- both new and old- to register in your notebook!
Not before seen in its prequel, you can now breed two pets of the same type to create newborns, which are dependant on the traits of their parents. With more storage to keep both personal pets and customer requests, there's more in and out of the shop to accomplish.
